RTS COURSES

RTSM Prerequisites and Tips

The Key to the RTSM Program:

The information included in the Prerequisite Science Module is the key to the entire program. Do not underestimate or skim-through this module in hope that once completed, it will be behind you. Do not mistakenly think that the hands-on modules are all you really need and are the most important sections. The people who do well and get the most for their money realize early-on that the Science Module is the key. The better you know it, the easier the Application Modules and exam will be. That's exactly why we call the hands-on sections "Application" Modules. In these we are simply creating and strategically manipulating exercises based upon that which is presented in the Science course!

  • The primary reason that the program is divided into modules is to allow study and review between sections. It is a mistake to take each module back-to-back if you do not have several hours per week to study. Returning for a module without studying is a waste of your time and money!
  • The key to studying is to break it up into 20-30 minute bouts. Do not read a text like a novel. Finishing a chapter is no great accomplishment if you did not understand each concept presented. Explore one section or topic at a time. When you finish a sentence, do not go on to the next sentence unless you understood the one you just read.
