  • RTS is for the Exercise Professional (or enthusiast evolving into an Exercise Professional) and therein focuses on others... Client-Defined exercise design and delivery.
  • The scope of Foundations Practical includes the analysis and delivery of resistance exercises for "real people" and "general fitness".
  • It does not include specifics of decision making associated with rehab, sports performance, bodybuilding, etc. These topics are covered in RTSM.
  • Explore the requisite investigation required to design client-defined, custom fit exercises®.
  • Explore the triage, modification, and progression of exercise execution and associated delivery and cuing options.
  • Identify the spectrum of planes available to the individual for pressing and pulling.
  • Identify structural influences in exercise design decisions.
  • Identify key scapula-humeral rhythm influences in exercise from presses to pulling through a variety of planes.
  • Identify multiple joint muscle influences in exercise design decisions.
  • Identify the influence of restraint (bars, floor, machines, etc.) upon movement and ranges and how set up an individual to maximize effectiveness.
  • Examine single joint and multi-joint pressing and pulling strength profiles and create appropriate resistance profiles
