Approximately 20-25 lbs. when pulled to 200% (from roughly 15” starting length to 30”). Variations in the exact material used by the manufacturer will alter the exact tension when new.
WARNING: These tubes must be checked for wear or marring before EACH use!!!!! DO NOT use a tube that has a hole or rip in it!
Tubing has a relatively SHORT LIFESPAN when used on equipment due in large part to friction on the carabiners/anchoring devices! Replace them when they show signs of wearâ€¦ i.e. BEFORE they break!!
All tubing will decrease in elasticity (strength) over time.
NOTE: Precise use of all RTS Exercise Tools is not as obvious as it may seem. They are not recommended for use by trainers that have not attended RTS courses that include detailed execution, progression, and cuing of/on the specific device!
